Pac-Man or how the software has eaten the world

Session description: Gain Control over Cloud Services and Make the Most of Hybrid Cloud. Do you believe you have unknown cloud services being used in your organization? Concerned with customer data and security risks? The reality is that you are most likely using up to 15 times more cloud services than you realize. Call us and request your free Cloud consumption trial. Cloud consumption
divide cloud services into authorized and non authorized, compare cloud services against security compliance and discovers Shadow IT. Imagine that you returned from Microsoft or any cloud conference with free token for on boarding to Azzure or any cloud. After successful testing due to the high cost of keeping production in cloud you might wish to off board from public cloud. Build highly secure hybrid clouds and extend your existing data center to public clouds as needed, on demand, and with consistent
network and security policies. With Cisco Intercloud Fabric, you can do all this and more. Off board in 3 steps and onboard in 5 steps. Request your free intercloud fabric trial so you can easily off board and on board to Azzure or any cloud. How easy is migration between clouds ? Thanks to “network as a code” and intercloud, migration is easy as changing the SIM in mobile phone or reprogramming BMW from US to EU market. Cisco`s R&D teams, working with Microsoft, have focused on ACI integration with System
Center Virtual Machine Manager and Windows Azure Pack. Microsoft Azzure Pack has plugin for APIC. After numerous articles “world is flat” and “Why Software is eating the world” and “if software is eating the world then open source will chew it up and swallow” it is a paradox that the economic value of software is falling even as its strategic value rises and hardware is key differentiator and Venture capital investment in hardware are up more than 30 times.

Biography: Josip Zimet started his career in Cisco in 1998. in the Escalation Center in Belgium. At the moment he works in promotion of Cisco cloud and managed services in South East Europe. Josip Zimet holds a CCIE routing and switching internationally recognized certificate.

Cisco DC Update – Relax with Hyperflex

Session description: Hyperconvergence is the hottest trend in IT infrastructure today. Until now, customers had to buy servers, storage, networking from different sources using proprietary hardware and had to integrate them which is a lot of effort and possibility for error. Today, you can build your IT infrastructure based on fixed building blocks that contain all the server-storage-networking functions in software, running on standard x86 hardware. That datacenter-in-a-box approach reduces complexity and upgrade planning becomes easy: A fixed price per node makes upgrades completely predictable. It takes only 1 hour from unpacking the gear to provisioning your first service – Relax with Hyperflex!

Biography: After 17 years in enterprise storage working for Netapp and before at HP, Alexander Weinbacher joined Cisco to lead the HX business in Central Europe.

Catching the Cyber Criminals: Revealing Malicious Infrastructures with OpenDNS

Session description: Despite adversaries’ reliance on DNS to help their malware campaigns, few companies are monitoring DNS for security purposes (or monitoring DNS at all). This makes DNS a security blind spot. On a daily basis we process nearly 80 billion DNS request and we use a statistical models to analyze many different aspects of DNS requests and Internet infrastructures to identify patterns, anomalies and co-occurrences that no other solution could possibly detect.
OpenDNS’s intelligence could be used:
• to prioritize incident investigation & response
• to speed up investigations using a single, correlated source of information
• to stay ahead of attacks by uncovering related attacks or even predicting future attacks, and
• to enrich existing security systems such as your SIEM or threat intelligence platform, with real-time data.

Biography: The 16 years professional work experience gained at domestic and at international companies. He was responsible running a large network built from thousands of networking and security devices. He joined to Cisco Systems in 2007 as systems engineer covering mainly routing and switching technology. From 2009 He joined to the enterprise team and he focused on IT security. As a consultant He was responsible for the design of several large enterprise IT architect where security was a mandatory component.

Prezentacija: NFV*: mogucnosti i primene

* NFV (Network Function Virtualization) – Virtuelizacija mrežnih funkcionalnosti

Cisco Advanced Malware Protection

Roden 1968 godine u Beogradu. Diplomirao 1994. godine na Fakultetu

Organizacionih Nauka u Beogradu.

godina u kompaniji Asseco SEE. Ucestvovao u dizajnu i implementaciji veceg broja infrastrukturnih

rešenja u bankarskom i javnom sektoru na teritoriji Balkana.

Cisco Private Cloud u Telekomu Srbija

Telekom Srbija Private Cloud rešenje omogucava orkestarciju i automatizaciju procesa u data centru. Automatizacija i orkestracija obuhvata sve aspekte data centar infrastrukture, serversku, mrežnu i storage infrastrukturu. Automatizovani su procesi implementacije servera, instalacije aplikacija (poput web i database servera), implementacije mrežne infrastrukture data centra i konfiguracije storage sistema.

1. Connected Women

Title: The Game Changer – How to close the gender gap at work

Social psychologist Amy Cuddy, uses experimental methods to investigate how people judge

and influence each other and themselves. Her research suggests that judgments along two

critical trait dimensions – warmth/trustworthiness and competence/power – shape social

interactions, determining such outcomes as who gets hired and who doesn’t, when we are

more or less likely to take risks, why we admire, envy, or disparage certain people, elect

politicians.

Cuddy’s work focuses on how we embody and express competence and warmth, linking our

body language to our feelings, physiology, and behavior. The latest research illuminates how

adopting body postures that convey competence and power can prepare us to be present

and cope well in stressful situations. In short, as David Brooks summarized the findings, “If

you act powerfully, you will begin to think powerfully.” Ultimately, Cuddy’s research

suggests that when people feel personally powerful, they become more present: better

connected with their own thoughts and feelings, which helps them to better connect with

the thoughts and feelings of others. Presence – characterized by enthusiasm, confidence,

engagement, and the ability to connect with and even captivate an audience – boosts

people’s performance in a wide range of domains.
